Hazrat Ali (RA), the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), had several wives and children. Here are some of his wives and children:

Wives of Hazrat Ali:

Hazrat Fatimah bint Muhammad (RA): Fatimah was the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Khadijah (RA), and she was married to Hazrat Ali (RA). They had two sons, Hasan and Husayn (RA).


Umm-ul-Banin: Her real name was Fatimah bint Huzam Al-Kilabiyyah. She was known as Umm-ul-Banin, which means "Mother of the Sons." Hazrat Ali (RA) married her after the passing of Hazrat Fatimah (RA), and they had four sons: Abbas ibn Ali, Ja'far ibn Ali, Uthman ibn Ali, and Abdullah ibn Ali (RA).


Children of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah (RA):

Imam Hasan ibn Ali (RA): He was the eldest son of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah and is revered as the second Imam by Shia Muslims. He played an important role in Islamic history and leadership.


Imam Husayn ibn Ali (RA): He was the younger son of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah and is highly respected by both Sunni and Shia Muslims. He is considered the third Imam by Shia Muslims. The tragic events of Karbala, where Imam Husayn and his companions were martyred, are a significant part of Islamic history.


Zainab bint Ali (RA): Zainab was the daughter of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah and is known for her courage and eloquence. She played a crucial role in preserving the message of Karbala and its aftermath.


Umm Kulthum bint Ali (RA): She was another daughter of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah. Umm Kulthum married her cousin, Qasim ibn Muhammad, who was the son of Hazrat Hasan (RA).


Children of Hazrat Ali and Umm-ul-Banin:

Abbas ibn Ali (RA): Also known as Abu al-Fadl, he was the half-brother of Hasan and Husayn (RA) and is known for his bravery and loyalty. He was martyred during the Battle of Karbala.


Ja'far ibn Ali (RA): He was the half-brother of Hasan and Husayn (RA) and is often referred to as Ja'far al-Sadiq. He became a renowned Islamic scholar and played a significant role in the development of Islamic jurisprudence.


Uthman ibn Ali (RA): He was another half-brother of Hasan and Husayn (RA) and is also known as Abu Layla.


Abdullah ibn Ali (RA): He was the youngest son of Hazrat Ali and Umm-ul-Banin.
